Analysis of Mycoplasma gallisepticum isolated from HD3 cells using 2D-DIGE

Chicken HD3 erytroblast cell were infected by bacterium Mycoplasma gallisepticum and cultivated for 24 hours (acute infection) and 7 weeks (chronic infection). After co-cultivation mycoplasmas were isolated from HD3 cells were compared with reference laboratory M. gallisepticum S6 strain using differential 2D electrophoresis with subsequent MALDI-MS analysis. Furthermore, mycoplasma isolated from eukaryotic cells (MIEC) were cultivated for sixteen passages in vitro. And MIEC after each passage was also compared with reference strain.
