We performed RNA sequencing and small RNA sequencing experiments on visual cortex tissues from three groups of animals: wildtype mice postnatal day 10 (P10-WT), wildtype mice postnatal day 28 (P28-WT), and miR-132/212 null mice postnatal day 28 (P28-KO). The objective of this study was to examine the role of Mir-132/212 in age-dependent transcriptome and binocular matching of orientation preference and depth perception.
本研究对三组实验动物的视觉皮层组织开展了RNA测序(RNA sequencing)与小RNA测序(small RNA sequencing)实验:三组动物分别为出生后第10天的野生型小鼠(P10-WT)、出生后第28天的野生型小鼠(P28-WT),以及出生后第28天的miR-132/212基因敲除小鼠(P28-KO)。本研究旨在探究miR-132/212在年龄依赖型转录组以及方位偏好与深度知觉的双眼匹配过程中的生物学作用。
