This dataset contains in situ sea surface measurements from R.V. Celtic Explorer in Mid Altlantic Ridge. The survey was conducted between May 12th and May 21, 2016 and consist of a single transit line collected from St. Johns to Galway. Survey was conducted at high speed of 10-12 kt due to time constrains and the need to reach the priority area in the Mid Atlantic Ridge (MAR) where sampling and video drops (data not included in this accession) were acquired.
