REJUVENATION OF YASHWANT LAKE: ISSUES, CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES

Yashwant Lake, in the southern part of Toranmal plateau is a serene lake fully covered by thick vegetation on its banks. Currently it stands as a topographical depression growing with overgrown grass and garbage. The lake’s use as a dumping ground has raised health concerns for the local population. This can be countered by rejuvenating the Yashwant Lake.坐落于托兰马尔高原南部的亚什万特湖（Yashwant Lake）曾是一座岸畔覆满茂密植被的静谧湖泊。如今它已沦为一处地形洼地，杂草丛生、垃圾遍地。该湖被用作垃圾倾倒场的现状，已引发当地民众的健康担忧。唯有通过生态修复整治亚什万特湖，方能解决这一问题。
