Dataset for: Psychological Help-Seeking Behaviours Among People Living With Inflammatory Bowel Disease: A Cross-Sectional, Descriptive, Correlational Study

This dataset accompanies a study exploring the help-seeking preferences and behaviours of those living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) for negative emotions they may experience, inlcuding preferences for seeking help, potential barriers to accessing help and informal sources of help. It includes anaonymised responses from an online survey assessing: Clinical characteristics Self-perceived disease control (IBD-Control-8) Previous or current sources of support Barriers to accessing support Informal sources of support Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB) constructs Socio-demographic data Mental health diagnoses Co-morbidities The data available has been fully anonymised. This dataset is intended to support transparency, replication, and secondary analysis.
