Midbodies function during telophase as a recruiting hub for proteins that regulate cell abscission. However, the contents of midbodies remain unclear. In this study, we profiled the RNA contents of purified midbodies using RNAseq. RNA profiling using RNAseq of the transcripts contained within purified midbodies and, as a comparison, intact HeLa cells.
