16S rRNA sequencing of Solanum tuberosum-associated bacterial community

Study purpose: This project aims to characterize the composition and diversity of bacterial communities associated with Solanum tuberosum (potato), and explore their potential roles in potato growth, disease resistance, and quality.Data type: Paired-end sequencing data of the 16S rRNA gene (V3-V4 region) generated using the Illumina platform, including raw sequences from potato samples collected from different conditions.Methods: Sample collection -> Total DNA extraction -> PCR amplification of 16S rRNA target region -> High-throughput sequencing -> Subsequent bioinformatic analysis (OTU clustering, taxonomic annotation, diversity assessment).Significance: This dataset provides foundational insights into potato-associated microbiomes, supporting the development of microbial-based strategies for sustainable potato cultivation.
