资源简介:
Abstract --------------------------- The FAO has developed a monitoring system in 26 food crisis countries to better understand the impacts of various shocks on agricultural livelihoods, food security and local value chains. The Monitoring System consists of primary data collected from households on a periodic basis (more or less every four months, depending on seasonality). The FAO launched a household survey in the Sudan through the Data in Emergencies Monitoring (DIEM-Monitoring) System to monitor agricultural livelihoods and food security. Data were conducted through face-to-face surveys in ten of eighteen states in the Sudan and included: Central Darfur, Gadaref, Gazira, Kassala, North Darfur, North Kordofan, South Darfur, South Kordofan, West Darfur and White Nile. A total of 2 320 households were surveyed between 5 and 19 September 2022. Geographic coverage --------------------------- National Coverage Analysis unit --------------------------- Households Kind of data --------------------------- Sample survey data [ssd] Sampling procedure --------------------------- There were 232 households interviewed per state, so in total 2320 households were surveyed. The household survey utilized a three-stage clustered random sampling method that was stratified at the state level. The first stage included the random selection of eight localities (at administrative level 2) per stratum. The second stage randomly selected villages using a probability proportional to population size sampling approach, and the third stage systematically selected eight households within the randomly selected areas of the states. Mode of data collection --------------------------- Face-to-face [f2f] Cleaning operations --------------------------- The datasets have been edited and processed for analysis by the Needs Assessment team at the Office of Emergencies and Resilience, FAO, with some dashboards and visualizations produced.
