Analysis of the possibilities of using DES recirculation in microwave pretreatment for efficient biomass decomposition.

Evaluation of the effect of DES recirculation after lignin isolation and regeneration in subsequent biomass pretreatment cycles using microwave radiation. The analyses included the assessment of lignocellulose composition (cellulose and lignin) and its susceptibility to enzymatic hydrolysis. Additionally, FTIR analysis of biomass was performed in subsequent DES recirculation cycles to analyze changes in biomass structure during pretreatment.
