ACCREU / COIN-INT Macroeconomic Impacts and Adaptation Dataset
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains macroeconomic and fiscal simulation results produced using the COIN-INT2.0 model within the Horizon Europe project Assessing Climate Change Risk in Europe (ACCREU). COIN-INT2.0 is a multi-regional and multi-sectoral model of the global economy, tailored to assess the macroeconomic effects of climate change and climate policy, with a particular focus on Europe. Within ACCREU, the model has been extended with impact and adaptation modules to assess the economic consequences of climate change under alternative climate and adaptation scenarios. The dataset provides estimates of real GDP, welfare, and public tax revenues for 25 European regions from 2020 to 2080 at five-year intervals. Results cover three climate scenarios (RCP2.6, RCP4.5, and RCP7.0), a baseline without climate impacts or adaptation, and three adaptation levels (low, medium, and high). The dataset comprises six Excel files presenting the macroeconomic and fiscal effects of individual climate impact categories, including agriculture and biodiversity, flooding, health, labour productivity, and sea-level rise, as well as their combined effects. These results support the assessment of the broader economic consequences of climate change and the potential role of adaptation in reducing climate-related losses across European economies.
