HPIP is an oncogenic protein and plays a major role in cancer progression, while its role in trophoblast differentiation is largly unknown. Therefore we analysed the effect of HPIP knockdown on gene expression signature in BeWO cells. Overall design: We knockdown HPIP in BeWo cells using gene specific siRNA or control siRNA and subsequently total RNA was isolated and then was analysised for global RNA profiling using microarray.
