Sequencing the transcriptome of Dracaena cochinchinensis (Lour.) S.C.Chen under conditions of wounding stress

Ten-year-old vigorous D. cochinchinensis planted at the Yunnan Branch of the Institute of Medicinal Plant Development, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, were used. Four wounds were manually cut simultaneously in the main stem of each D. cochinchinensis with a knife. The volume of each wound was about 6 cm3 (3 cm long, 2 cm wide, and 1 cm deep), and the spacing between each wound was >5 cm. Appropriate amounts of samples were collected at 0d, 3d, 6d and 10d.
