Profilometry data of large spherical bimetallic shells at various temperatures

Profilometry measurements of series 820 of bimetallic disks taken at 20C using a coordinate measuring machine. Surface data of disks was then fitted to a spherical cap using a least-mean-squares method to determine the characteristic initial curvature and central rise of each disk.
