This dataset contains laboratory-confirmed yellow fever cases reported in Colombia from January 2023 to the sixth epidemiological period of 2025. The primary research aim was to explore whether vaccination status is associated with key qualitative variables, particularly clinical outcomes such as hospitalization and mortality. The working hypothesis proposed that vaccination significantly influences disease severity and outcomes. Data were obtained from event reports published by the Colombian National Institute of Health (INS), which are updated after each epidemiological period and made publicly available through the INS transparency and access to information portal, specifically in the event reports and dashboards section. Each case record includes vaccination status, some demographic information, and clinical outcomes. Hypothesis testing calculations were performed using the free statistical software Jamovi (version 2.6.44.0). The dataset can be used to support epidemiological studies, surveillance analyses, and policy planning for yellow fever prevention and control.
