High-Resolution Coastal Sites: A UAV-Based Photogrammetric Dataset from the St. Lawrence Estuary
收藏资源简介:
This dataset comprises UAV-based imagery surveys conducted across seven coastal sites in the St. Lawrence Estuary, encompassing a wide diversity of coastal environments including salt marshes, beach terraces, spits, cliffs, rocky shores, and anthropogenic features. These sites often exhibit strong spatial heterogeneity, with multiple coastal forms coexisting within a single survey area. Data acquisition was performed using low-cost UAV platforms (DJI Mavic 3E RTK and Autel EVO II) under site-specific flight configurations, typically at low tide, with high image overlap and centimetric ground resolution. Ground control and check points were deployed following an adaptive sampling strategy constrained by accessibility and safety, ensuring robust geometric control despite challenging terrain conditions. Photogrammetric processing was conducted using standardized workflows to generate high-resolution orthomosaics and point clouds. The dataset constitutes the first phase of the PhD project of the first author.
