Comprehensive single-cell transcriptomic analysis of laryngeal epithelium of mice

We performed 10x Genomics scRNA-seq (enhanced by the custom target enrichment of Calhm1, Calhm3, Tas2r105 and Scn2a) on laryngeal epithelia of mice to study rare sensory epithelial cells that synapse with afferent nerves. Such epithelial cells include subsets of POU2F3+ chemosensory cells (PCCs) in various organs. This study represents transcriptome analysis of the mouse laryngeal epithelium and provide new insights into airway protective chemoreflexes.
