In 2022, Both UPS and Canada Post shared 18 percent of the total volume of parcels shipped, with both companies handling approximately 240 million parcels. The largest volume of parcels carried came from other independent carriers who had a combined share of around 39 percent of the market, or 516 million parcels—more than double UPS and Canada Post combined.
