"Density data and characteristic information of pycnocline in the northern South China Sea"

"This dataset is the result data of an experiment. The experiment uses SWOT satellite observations of sea surface height data to drive the eSQG model and obtain a three-dimensional density field of the ocean. The density obtained from the experiment is reduced to a full density field through climate state data, and the characteristic parameters of the thermocline are calculated using the vertical gradient method. The schematic diagram shows the density profile and density gradient profile information calculated from the density data of the 0.08 \u00b0 grid corresponding to 8 bands covering the study area under 15 revisit cycles, as well as the thermocline parameters in the density vertical profiles of revisit cycles 1 and 7."
