MMAT Quality Appraisal for "Machine Learning and Generative AI in Learning Analytics for Higher Education: A Systematic Review of Models, Trends, and Challenges"

This dataset supports the systematic review titled “Machine Learning and Generative AI in Learning Analytics for Higher Education: A Systematic Review of Models, Trends, and Challenges”. It includes the full list of 101 empirical studies analyzed in the review and the corresponding quality appraisal using the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool (MMAT, 2018 version). Each entry documents: Study ID, title, year, and methodology type MMAT category Responses to MMAT checklist items (S1, S2, 1.1–5.5) Reviewer comments and quality notes The dataset provides transparency and reproducibility to the review process. It complements Section 2.5 (Quality Appraisal) and Section 6 (Limitations) of the manuscript.
