Three-dimensional visualization and morphometry of the intraosseous vascular canals of human ossicles in microcomputed tomography (μCT)

The dataset was created as a result of a completed NCN grant aimed at analysis and morphometry of vascular canals of human auditory ossicles. Based on the micro-CT method, human auditory ossicles were scanned for 3D visualization of vascular canals distribution and for measurements. The obtained projections and measurements are the basis for two articles i) the first one on the microarchitecture of vascular canals, ii) the second one on the morphometric variability of vascular canals of human auditory ossicles in historical populations.
