Whole genome sequencing of the AgPMB1 strain

WGS data from male and female adult individuals of the AgPMB1 transgenic strain of Anopheles gambiae. Males of this strain express a sex ratio distorting transgene and were first generated and described by Galizi, R. et al. A synthetic sex ratio distortion system for the control of the human malaria mosquito. Nat. Commun. 5:3977 doi: 10.1038/ncomms4977 (2014). The WGS data contained here or of the AgPMB1 transgene strain in the parental G3 laboratory background on chromosome 3R-36D in position 47,762,151bp. NOTE: Any potential future releases made of this transgenic strain may be in a different genetic background.
