Retrospective whole genome sequencing of multi-drug resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae isolates from the University Hospital of Brasilia

The aim of this study was to sequence and characterize a set of MDR Klebsiella pneumonia isolates from the University Hospital of Brasilia to determine the prevalence of plasmids, antimicrobial resistance genes, and virulence genes to trace the dissemination of MDR strains regionally and temporally.
