Effect of FGF2 binding heparan sulfate on mesenchymal stem cells was studied and found to influence potency. Gene expression profiling was then performed to undertand its response at the transcriptome level. Overall design: Total RNA obtained from mesencymal stem cells treated with heparan sulfate for two weeks.
