National Coral Reef Monitoring Program: Carbonate budget data from Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary collected from 2019-06-03 to 2019-06-04. (NCEI Accession 0224754)

This archive package contains census-based carbonate budget data that was collected from a coral reef habitat located near East Flower Garden Banks in Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary. Six transect surveys (based on Perry et al. 2012) (10m each) were conducted to quantify benthic cover, macrobioerosion, and microbioerosion. Ten parrotfish surveys were also conducted to account for parrotfish erosion rates. This carbonate budget data along with other sea water chemistry data were collected at the long-term monitoring site during the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological (AOML), Coral Reef Conservation Program (CRCP) led NCRMP missions.
