NCEP-NCAR大气再分析数据集1.0（1948-2017）

NCEP/NCAR再分析数据工程（1.0）是美国国家环境预报中心-国家大气研究中心（National Centers for Environmental Prediction–National Center for Atmospheric Research: NCEP–NCAR）利用美国国家先进的分析/预测系统去对过去的资料（1948-最近）进行数据同化处理。
这些数据大部分都是来自PSD（物理科学部：Physical Sciences Division）原始日平均的数据。然而，自1948到1957阶段数据有一点不同，属于常规（非高斯）栅格数据。目前官方网站公布的资料一般是从1948至今，最新一天的资料一般会更新到当天的前两日。对于等压面上的资料，一般垂直分辨率会有17层，从1000hPa到10hPa。水平分辨率一般为2.5°×2.5°。NCEP再分析资料是国际上比较系统的大气科学再分析数据集，与欧洲中心的再分析资料相比，其覆盖的起始年份要早一些，最新的资料更新也更快一些。两套再分析数据集是目前国际上使用最为广泛的数据集。

NCEP/NCAR Reanalysis Dataset (Version 1.0) was developed by the National Centers for Environmental Prediction–National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCEP–NCAR), which uses the U.S. national advanced analysis and prediction system to perform data assimilation on historical meteorological data spanning from 1948 to the present.

Most of these datasets are original daily average data sourced from the Physical Sciences Division (PSD). However, data from the 1948–1957 period differs slightly, consisting of regular (non-Gaussian) grid data. Currently, the official website releases data generally covering the period from 1948 to the present, with the latest available data typically updated up to two days prior to the current day. For data on isobaric surfaces, the vertical resolution generally includes 17 layers ranging from 1000 hPa to 10 hPa, and the horizontal resolution is typically 2.5° × 2.5°. NCEP reanalysis data is a relatively systematic atmospheric science reanalysis dataset internationally. Compared with the reanalysis datasets from the European Centre, its start year is earlier, and the latest data is updated more rapidly. These two reanalysis datasets are currently the most widely used internationally.
