Processed multibeam bathymetry data from Autonomous Surface Vehicle (ASV) mounted EM2040P in the offshore region of South West Dominica (March 2019)

Multibeam swath bathymetry data surveys were conducted using a Kongsberg EM 2040P multibeam echosounder series mounted onto the National Oceanography Centre C-Worker CW4 Autonomous Surface Vehicle in March 2019. The data were collected as part of the Commonwealth Marine Economies Program (CMEP), where bathymetric data was collected in the offshore region of South West Dominica. The data were processed using Quality Positioning Services (QPS) Qimera software and hand edited to remove spurious points. Sound Velocity Profile (SVP) data was collected periodically and used to correct the data. Tidal corrections were completed using predicted tides for Roseau. The data were gridded at 1 m, in WGS84 UTM Zone 20N projection. The data were exported as longitude-latitude-depth triples. Funding was provided by the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office.
