The developmental transcription factor SOX9 exerts an oncogenic activity in pancreatic cancer. We used microarrays to detail the global programme of gene expression underlying the oncogenic activity of SOX9 in pancreatic cancer. SOX9 expression was silenced in RWP-1 cells through short hairpin RNA and total RNA was isolated and hybridized on HuGene-2_0-st Affymetrix microarrays.
