Land Consumption (Updates 2008-2021)

Data concerning the ‘Monitoring of Soil Consumption in Piedmont – Edition 2022’ approved by DGR 2-6683 of 4.4.2023.Mapping of portions of land that have undergone human transformation: urbanised surface, infrastructure area, surface consumed reversibly.The data were produced from an automatic aggregation of elements derived from the BDTRE – Territorial Reference Data Base of Bodies and subsequent geographical processing (buffer). The polygons delimiting the areas consumed were then divided into the municipalities to which they belong, to allow statistical calculations at municipal and/or provincial level.In addition, they were crossed with the data of the land use capacity paper to highlight consumption on areas belonging to the first three classes of use capacity. These data are related to the surveys of 2008, 2013 and 2021.The data are available through direct unloading of a single package (zip), consisting of shapefiles and alphanumeric tables, of all the time series from 1991 until the last available update.
