Exploring professional identity development within anatomical pathology

This thesis aims to address workforce shortages in the medical specialty of anatomical pathology (AP) by learning from the reflective journeys of junior doctors interested in AP, AP trainees, and consultants. By exploring these journeys through the lens of professional identity development, this thesis offers suggestions to enhance recruitment and retention into the field.
