LGRB-BW INSPIRE HG: Geology – Aquitard Types – Dataset

The Aquitard Types dataset contains the spatial geometries of the hydrogeological units without top layers in Baden-Württemberg (HKoD_BW), which were classified according to their permeability in groundwater trusses (Aquitard). Facilitation does not occur. Hydrogeological units with permeability of < 1E-5 m/s or, for example, layered aquifers with large fluctuation widths to well below the above limit value shall be assigned aquifers. The geometries of the two feature classes Aquifer Types and Aquitard Types together form a comprehensive map basis. For each aquifer, the associated factual data shall designate comparable aquifers of the aquifer type (cavity type: Pore aquifers, clefts, karsts or mixed aquifers), which coarsely characterise rocks (hydrogeochemical rock type: silicate, carbonate, etc.) and an estimate of mean permeability or permeability ranges (permeability).
