Metal oxide based nanomaterials have attracted great interest due to their unique properties and potential applications in a wide range of fields, including optoelectronics, catalysis, and energy storage. Wet chemical methods are one of the most popular methods for the synthesis of metal oxide nanomaterials due to their simplicity, versatility, and scalability. In this paper, we review the wet chemical methods for the synthesis of metal oxide nanomaterials, with a focus on their properties and applications in optoelectronic devices. We also discuss the challenges and future directions of this research area. The introduction of the paper begins by providing an overview of metal oxide based nanomaterials, their properties, and potential applications. The history of metal oxide nanomaterials is then discussed, followed by a review of the wet chemical methods for their synthesis.
