Supplementary Material - Prompt Inception: A Software Engineering-Oriented Approach to Prompt Engineering for GenAI Models This document contains a guide for understanding each supplementary file presented on this repository: Informed Consent Form (ICF): Presents the consent form that each participant signed before starting the study Initial Interview: Presents the interview script that participants responded to before starting the study Presentation Script: Presents a presentation provided to the participant with an overview of the study procedures Prompt Inception Guide: Document developed to support the participants in using the Prompt Inception Artifact Document: Spreadsheet containing the constructed prompt artifacts, including objectives, requirements, components, and evaluation metrics. This artifact also incorporated participants’ assessments of component and requirement coverage, as well as the responses generated throughout the study Post-Study Questionnaire: A questionnaire designed to capture participants’ perceptions and experiences after employing Prompt Inception to enhance their research prompts.
