本数据集详细反映了我国11个植被类型组、54个植被型的796个群系和亚群系植被单位的分布状况、水平地带性和垂直地带性分布规律，同时反映了我国2000多个植物优势种、主要农作物和经济作物的实际分布状况及优势种与土壤和地面地质的密切关系。由于本数据集属于现势植被图图种，故反映出我国植被近期的质量状况。 其中shp矢量数据属性项及中英文对照图例内容均包括12项：1、Vege_id（即植被群系编号）；2、新编号；3、植被群系和亚群系；4、植被型编号；5、植被型；6、植被型组编号；7、植被型组；8、植被大类；9、Vegetation formation and sub-formation（植被群系和亚群系的英文）；10、Vegetation type（植被型的英文）；11、Vegetation type group（植被型组的英文）；12、Vegetation mega group（植被大类的英文）。This dataset details the distribution status, as well as the laws of horizontal and vertical zonation, of 796 vegetation units including formations and sub-formations belonging to 11 vegetation type groups and 54 vegetation types in China. It also reflects the actual distribution of over 2,000 dominant plant species, major crops and cash crops in China, and the close correlation between dominant species and soil as well as surface geology. As this dataset falls under the category of current vegetation maps, it reflects the recent quality status of vegetation in China. The attribute items of the shapefile vector data and their Chinese-English comparative legend consist of 12 entries in total: 1. Vege_id (i.e., vegetation formation ID); 2. New ID; 3. Vegetation formation and sub-formation; 4. Vegetation type ID; 5. Vegetation type; 6. Vegetation type group ID; 7. Vegetation type group; 8. Vegetation mega group; 9. Vegetation formation and sub-formation (English name for vegetation formation and sub-formation); 10. Vegetation type (English name for vegetation type); 11.
