Overexpression of METTL3 leads to differential gene expression in the rat proximal tubular epithelial cell line NRK-52E

We generated the NRK-52E sublines overexpressing METTL3 (referred as to lv_Mettl3), and performed transcriptome sequencing to identify the differentially expressed genes compared to the control cell line (referred as to lv_nc). Overall design: Total RNA was extracted from NRK-52E subline cells with TRIzol reagent. The RNA purity and integrity were analyzed with the Agilent Bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent). The mRNA was purified from total RNA after removal of rRNA and sequenced on an Illumina Hiseq2500 system.
