A potent broad-spectrum protective human monoclonal antibody crosslinking two haemagglutinin monomers of influenza A virus.

Mice (n=5 per group) treated with epitope-specific CT149 (20 or 10 mg/kg) 24 h before or after virus challenge were fully protected (100% survival) from challenge with maHK/68. Significant levels of protection, 100% and 80%, were also observed in mice (n=5 per group) given 20 and 10 mg/kg of CT149, respectively, at 48 h after inoculation with the maHK/68 virus.
