Black carbon and inorganic aerosols in Arctic snowpack from six regions (Finland, Alaska, North and South Siberia, Greenland, and Spitzbergen) during early spring in 2012-2016.

These data sets contain the mass and number concentrations, size distributions, deposition amount by mass and number of black carbon (BC) in snowpack sampled over Finland, Alaska, Siberia, Greenland, and Spitsbergen during early spring in 2012-2016. They also contain the mass concentrations and deposition amounts of inorganic ion species (nss-SO42-, NO3-, Na+, and NH4+) in the same snowpack. In total, we provide the data for 107 samples of surface snow (0-2 cm or 0-5 cm depth), 77 samples of subsurface snow (2-10 cm), and 112 columns of snowpack. The measurements of BC and ion species were made by using a single-particle soot photometer and ion chromatography, respectively.本数据集涵盖了2012-2016年早春时节，在芬兰、阿拉斯加、西伯利亚、格陵兰及斯匹次卑尔根（Spitsbergen）采集的积雪样品相关数据，其中包含黑碳（black carbon, BC）的质量浓度、数浓度、粒径分布，以及按质量和数量统计的黑碳沉降量。数据集同时收录了同批次积雪样品中无机离子组分（nss-SO42-、NO3-、Na+与NH4+）的质量浓度与沉降量。本次共提供107份表层积雪样品（深度范围0~2 cm或0~5 cm）、77份次表层积雪样品（深度范围2~10 cm），以及112份积雪柱样的相关数据。其中黑碳与无机离子组分的测定分别采用单颗粒炭黑光度计（single-particle soot photometer）与离子色谱法完成。
