The purpose of this study was to investigate the epidemiology, molecular and clinical characteristics of MRSA t304/ST8 and t304/ST6 in Norway from 2008 to 2016.
*In 2009, 53.3% of staphylococci were coded as “methicillin resistant” (MRSA). MRSA was not specifically coded in prior years. **Some cases may represent a second, non-endocarditis infection.
