Transcriptome of Thalassicolla nucleata holobiont

Thalassicolla nucleata is a radiolarian species commonly found in marine environments. It is known to contain dinoflagellate symbionts. This project sequenced the transcriptome of the holobiont of Thalassicolla nucleata. Using the transcriptome data, we aim to identify the symbionts within T. nucleata, provide a gene catalog of the radiolarian and its dinoflagellate symbionts, and find clues on the symbiotic mechanism from gene expression patterns.
