Determination_of_X_chromosome_skewing_in_mouse_myeloid_cells__Exp_A

The aim of this study is to investigate whether there is evidence for Haemopoietic Stem Cell selection detectable in blood myeloid cells in our mouse models, manifesting itself as skewed X chromosome usage. The mice are heterozygous at each allele for 129 & Bl6 mouse strains. We are investigating whether granulocyte RNA of female aged mice shows skewing towards the alleles of one or other strain at polymorphic loci of the X chromosome.
