Confocal data of Anomocephalobus liuhaoi, holotype, NIGP177044

This dataset contains the raw confocal laser scanning microscopy (CLSM) slices for the holotype of <em>Anomocephalobus liuhaoi</em> (NIGP177044) from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. Additional confocal data for <em>Erichia cretacea</em> (CNU-COL-BR2014808) are also provided. This dataset is associated with the publication "<em>Anomocephalobus</em>, a new genus of minute marsh-loving beetles from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber (Coleoptera: Limnichidae)" (DOI:10.1590/S1984-4689.v39.e21030). Confocal images were obtained with a Zeiss LSM710 confocal laser scanning microscope, using the 488 nm Argon laser excitation line. The original CZI files are provided, which could be opened by the ZEISS ZEN software.
