GEST Ocean Surface Current 2.0

The GEST Ocean Surface Current product 2.0 builds upon the GEST Ocean Surface Current product 1.0 (doi: 10.5281/zenodo.8329991), which estimates ocean surface currents at a 15 m depth using GESTNet, integrating multi-scale physical processes including Geostrophic and Ekman currents, wave-induced Stokes drift, and Tidal currents. This global daily product spans the period from 2006 to 2019, featuring a spatial resolution of 0.25°. It is anticipated to be a reliable indicator of actual ocean circulation.
