Site Data from a Building Survey at The Red Lion and No. 38 Southampton Street, Reading, Berkshire, 2021

This collection consists of images, text and site recording from a historic building survey by Oxford Archaeology at The Red Lion and no. 38 Southampton Street, Reading, Berkshire, August to September 2021. This revealed there was only minimal historic fabric within the buildings and this was found within the chimney stack of no.38 which contained bricks of early to mid 17th century date as well as occasional timbers within the roof and timber frame of the cottage.
