This file consists of data which underpin the study ‘Systemic antibiotic sales and WHO recommendations, India’, Aashna Mehta et al., published here. <br> In particular, it includes data which relate to the policy implications referred to in the Conclusions of the study, namely, formulations of antibiotic combinations on the Indian market in 2020 (i) which are ‘not recommended’ by WHO but which have a record of central approval (Appendix 5) and have been given ‘no objection certificates’ (NOCs) (Appendix 6 &amp; 13); (ii) which do not have a record of prior central approval (Appendix 8 &amp; 12); and (iii) despite having been banned (Appendix 7 &amp; 11).
