An historic building record of a former railway bridge was made prior to infilling of the track below the arch. The bridge carried a local road over the North Cornwall Railway. The line was opened in 1886 and closed in 1967. it was constructed of local stone. Other than modern repointing, no alterations have been made to the bridge.
