Establishing reference values of amino acids and acylcarnitines from 16 species of stingless bees (Hymenoptera: Meliponini) from Mexico

Four supplementary Excel files are provided to support the data and statistical analysis presented in this study: RawData_AA.xlsx – Contains the raw concentration values (in μmol/L) for the 12 amino acids measured in triplicate for each of the 16 stingless bee species analyzed. RawData_AC.xlsx – Contains the raw concentration values (in μmol/L) for the 28 acylcarnitines measured in triplicate for each of the 16 stingless bee species analyzed. Results_AA.xlsx – Provides the full statistical analysis for amino acids: Sheet 1 (Basic_Stats): Mean and standard deviation of each metabolite per species. Sheet 2 (Kruskal_Wallis): Non-parametric comparison across species. Sheet 3 (Dunn_Test): Post hoc pairwise comparisons. Sheet 4 (Bonferroni): Adjusted p-values for multiple comparisons. Sheet 5 (Significant): Metabolites with statistically significant differences (Bonferroni-corrected p < 0.05). Sheet 6 (Composition): Relative abundance (%) of each amino acid per species.
