The Downloadable Version of Classics of English and American Literature in Finnish, version 1.1

The resource is a sub-corpus of Classics of English and American Literature in Finnish (http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2016110901). The resource contains the following Finnish translations in their entirety, each paragraph on its own line, in the original order: suomentanut Kersti Juva: Ylpeys ja ennakkoluulo, Teos, 2013 Alkuteos Jane Austen, Pride and Prejudice suomentanut Kersti Juva: Washingtonin aukio, Otava, 2003 Alkuteos Henry James, Washington Square suomentanut Kersti Juva: Kolea talo, Tammi, 2006 Alkuteos Charles Dickens, Bleak House (There is also a download version that contains annotated VRT files of these works in English and in Finnish, where the paragraphs have been scrambled: http://urn.fi/urn:nbn:fi:lb-2021060203). Users will have to apply for access rights through https://lbr.csc.fi/, access rights instructions: https://www.kielipankki.fi/access. Personal permission will be required in order to access the corpus. The purpose of the resource use will have to be outlined in a research plan.
