Accuracy of LAM and ESAT-6 assays for measurements in urine and serum.

LAM performance is provided for the FIND 28 and S4-20 capture antibodies. The table provides the measured sensitivity (correctly classified TB+ samples / total number of TB+ samples) and specificity (correctly classified TB- samples / total number of TB- samples). The values were calculated for the full sample set (All) or for the subsets of samples from HIV- and HIV+ subjects. 95% confidence intervals for the proportion were calculated using Wilson’s method.
