This file includes the processed data from our extended meta-analysis of tropical tree and liana hydraulic functional traits. Other functionals traits were included if they were reported in the publications meeting the criteria of our extended meta-analysis for reporting hydraulic functional traits. Columns are as follows:
Growth.form: Either tree or liana
AccSpeciesName: Accepted species name from the TRY database
HV (cm/cm2): Huber value in cm/cm2
Al/As (m2/cm2): Leaf area:sapwood area ratio in m2/cm2
HV (10^4, m2/m2): Huber value in 104 m2/m2
N (g/kg): Mass-based leaf nitrogen content in g/kg
WD (g/cm3): Wood density in g/cm3

Absolute capacitance (mol/m2/Mpa): Absolute capacitance in mol/m2/MPa
K: Stem-specific maximum hydraulic conductivity (units variable)

P50: Pressure at which 50% of hydraulic function is lost in MPa
