Varian iX 6 MV Extended Profiles

This dataset, named "Varian iX 6 MV Extended Profiles", was co-created by the Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital and Queensland University of Technology. It contains 36 extended profiles of out-of-field dose distributions, collected using a standard 3D scanning water phantom, with two measured segments stitched together via an innovative feature matching method. The dataset is provided as publicly accessible Comma-Separated Values (CSV) files, suitable for developing and validating out-of-field dose analysis models, as well as evaluating dose estimates for radiation-sensitive implants and anatomical structures. This dataset was developed to address the obsolescence and limitations of existing datasets, and to provide physicists with a method for conducting measurements independently using common dose measurement equipment.
