As part of the ENCODE consortium project (NIH, NHGRI), we conducted genome-wide location analysis for various transcription factors in various cell types. The long-term goal of this project is to determine the function of each DNA nucleotide in the genome. Measurement of transcription factor binding events is an important part of this effort. Here we measure genome-wide binding events for a variety of important transcriptional regulators. Keywords: ChIP-chip ChIP-chip analyses were performed for the following transcription factors (TFs) and cell types: 1) transcriptional regulators GA-binding protein (GABP) and serum response factor (SRF) in GMO6990 cells 2) transcriptional regulators GABP, SRF, and TBP-associated factor 1 (TAF250) in HeLa cells 3) transcriptional regulators GABP and SRF in HepG2 cells 4) transcriptional repressor neural restrictive silencer factor (NRSF/REST) using two different antibodies in Jurkat cells 5) transcriptional regulators GABP, SRF, and TAF250 in k562 cells Each Sample (GSMxxx) record comprises data from biological replicates.
